Hello and Welcome to my world of porcelain dolls!
I am a self-taught doll artist, and my work has been evolving since 2005. What began as a personal artistic exploration gradually became a lifelong dedication to the creation of fine art ball-jointed dolls.
After the birth of my first child, I became a full-time mother. Although I had always deeply wished to experience motherhood in a present and devoted way, I never wanted to abandon my essence of serving the world. I found in art a way to unite these two callings: continuing to work from home while raising my children closely, inspired as well by the example set by my own mother.
In 2011, I introduced my first porcelain BJD, marking the beginning of a body of work centered on limited editions and one-of-a-kind creations. Over the years, my dolls have been acquired by collectors around the world and recognized through international awards and publications in leading doll magazines.
Porcelain became my material of choice not only for its beauty, but for its permanence, technical complexity, and historical depth. Each doll is sculpted, molded, cast, fired, painted, and assembled entirely by me, using high-fire porcelain and multiple kiln firings. Layers of traditional china paint are carefully applied and fired to build luminosity, depth, and life — a process that demands patience, precision, and mastery.
Alongside my artistic practice, I have shared my knowledge through online courses, helping to shape and strengthen the doll-making community in Brazil.
In 2016, I launched a resin doll line produced in South Korea, which achieved notable success due to its accessibility. After several years, this line was discontinued because of import limitations, allowing me to return fully to porcelain — the medium that has always defined my artistic voice.
In 2018, I participated in my first international exhibition in the United States, where I had the honor of personally receiving an award at the ID&TS Doll Show, marking an important milestone in my international presence.
In 2023, I unveiled Bella Spring, a creation that represents a synthesis of my artistic journey. Inspired by nature and the luminous energy of spring, Bella Spring embodies a deep connection between artist, material, and subject. The project extended beyond the doll itself, becoming an immersive artistic experience in which I physically mirrored my creation.
Bella Spring was featured in a four-page article in Dolls Magazine and was personally delivered to an American collector during a visit to the United States. In 2024, the doll received the prestigious Dolls Awards of Excellence, recognizing the artistic excellence and craftsmanship of the work.
Today, I continue to dedicate my work to the creation of porcelain BJDs in highly limited editions, each one conceived as a lasting work of art — made to be cherished, preserved, and passed on through generations.
