Your Doll’s Journey Home

Each doll is carefully prepared for her journey with the same attention and tenderness that guided her creation.
Because she is a handmade porcelain art doll, every detail of her packaging is designed to protect her porcelain body, delicate clothing, wig, accessories, and overall presentation throughout her international journey.

On this page, you will find photos of the packaging process before shipment. These images show how your doll was placed inside her box, how she was protected with custom foam support, and how the final package looked before leaving my studio.
This page was created so you can feel confident knowing that your doll was packed with great care. It may also help you recognize whether the box or inner arrangement has been opened, moved, or inspected during transit before reaching you.
This page also serves as a visual reference of how Bella Spring was carefully arranged and protected before leaving my studio, allowing you to compare the original packaging with the way she arrives to you.

Thank you for welcoming Bella Spring into your collection. I hope this careful preparation helps her arrive safely and beautifully, just as she left my hands.

The doll is safely placed inside her box with custom foam protection. She is secured to the box with satin ribbons placed around her waist, arms, and legs. An extra layer of bubble-wrap protection is gently wrapped around her hands.

A thin layer of foam is placed over the doll, then her accessories — dress, shoes, crown — and her certificate are placed on top of this foam before the box is closed.

The custom-made, highly secure box for her long journey is now closed and ready to be placed inside the shipping box.

But the box itself also needs to be protected, so it was wrapped in bubble wrap, with foam placed underneath, around the sides, and on top of it. In the unlikely event that the box needs to be opened by customs in your country, I have included a small note explaining that the doll should not be removed from her protective foam.
Picture
Before covering the box with the final layer of foam, I placed the doll stand along the side of the box, where it was also protected by the foam.

This image shows what you will see when you open the shipping box: the final layer of protective foam.

This image shows the shipping box already closed and sealed with adhesive tape.

The shipping box was wrapped in brown paper, and the shipping label was attached. Now, all that’s left is to wait for your doll to arrive safely to you.
Before your porcelain BJD arrives, I kindly recommend watching this care video.
In this video, I explain how to safely unpack, handle, pose, and care for your doll, including important details about the porcelain hands and fingers, the internal spring system, the magnetic wig, and how to gently care for the hair.

The audio is in Portuguese, but English subtitles are available. Please remember to turn on the subtitles when you start watching the video. If the subtitles do not appear on this page, please open the video directly on YouTube to watch it with English subtitles.
Watching this video before receiving your doll will help you feel more confident and prepared to handle her safely from the very first moment.
This is a private video created exclusively for collectors of my dolls, so I kindly ask you not to share it publicly or with others. Thank you for respecting this special care material.
