Me...
Hello! I’m Tatiana
Tofaneto, born in 1978, in Brazil where
I have been living since then. I'm married
to a wonderful man and we have a little
son. I have always been connected to Arts,
since I can remember... When I was a child
I used to draw human figures a lot. It was
my favorite thing to draw. I took some painting
classes when I was a teenager but never
felt really "complete" with painting...
Specially because I'm totally self-taught
when it comes to art! Some time ago I started
modelling with the Cold Porcelain, creating
lovely figures for children. It is something
very nice doing and I still enjoy it. But
then I found out the magic of sculpting.
I was amazed about the
possibility of taking my imagination into
a 3D form of art. So I decided to give it
a try with the Cold Porcelain, which resulted
in my first fairy Hannie (see her in my
gallery).
I was so impressed about what I could create!
Now I’m sculpting smaller dolls from
polymer clay and I love it, I discovered
it is much easier to express myself using
this medium. Sculpting makes me so happy
that I realized it’s just what I had
been looking for.
Since then I have been sculpting and trying
to make the best of it. Fairies and Fantasy
are now in my head, heart and hands.
